2025 has officially come to a close, and I have to say, I'm happy to be looking ahead! It's been a wild ride over the last 12 months, but that doesn't mean that my beauty routine was lacking. On the contrary, this year has seen some of the most intriguing, innovative, and downright mind-blowing beauty products that I've ever had the pleasure of testing. It's clear that brand founders and cosmetic chemists have heard our rallying cries for even more effective and inclusive formulas across hair, skincare, makeup, body care, and fragrance, and to my absolute delight, dozens upon dozens delivered—and then some.

With plenty of exciting innovation still on the horizon for 2026 across all the major beauty categories—from a new SPF filter awaiting FDA-approval to a new hair loss drug, VDPHL01, entering phase three trials to seek FDA approval—I want to take a moment to reflect on all of the incredible formulas that made their debut in 2025. Here at Marie Claire, we spend countless hours swatching, combing, swiping, and spritzing the best of the best in beauty to not only bring you our strongest recommendations but also to update our own routines. It's a hard job, I know, but somebody has to do it.

So without further ado, we're revealing the 60 best beauty products of 2025, according to our highly discerning editorial team.
