2025 has officially come to a close, and I have to say, I'm happy to be looking ahead! It's been a wild ride over the last 12 months, but that doesn't mean that my beauty routine was lacking. On the contrary, this year has seen some of the most intriguing, innovative, and downright mind-blowing beauty products that I've ever had the pleasure of testing. Here at Marie Claire, we spend countless hours swatching, combing, swiping, and spritzing the best of the best in beauty to not only bring you our strongest recommendations but also to update our own routines. My Favorite Skincare Products
I’m always on the hunt for a stellar mineral sunscreen since I struggle with dark melasma patches (a sun block that doesn’t absorb the UV rays is essential since melasma is activated by heat). This new brand, and its hero formula, absolutely dazzled me when it launched earlier this year. The formula is elegant and blends in smoothly with the rest of my skincare for a seamless finish. The brand identity is also so on-point.
I’m deep into my laser skincare treatment era, and my epidermis desperately needs nourishing and repairing products to speed along my recovery. The proprietary ingredient, RGN-6, in this formula helps to minimize signs of skin aging and reduce downtime following any in-office treatments. My skin is so grateful, and glowy, since adding this moisturizer to my routine.
My Favorite Hair Products
I’m loyal to anything celebrity stylist and brand founder Mara Roszak develops for her hair care line, but this styling cream holds a special place in my heart. It’s the perfect formula to smooth flyaways without weighing down my 2B waves, and a little goes much further than you think. It’s so versatile and lovely, I’ll never be without it in my hair care routine.
When Chris McMillan launched his namesake line earlier this year, I knew it was going to be exceptional. This flyaway wand in particular has been my go-to to eliminate rogue frizz for my signature slicked-back bun, and to keep my baby hairs in place when I wear my hair down and wavy.
My Favorite Body Care Products
I never, ever get out of the shower without slathering on a ton of body lotion, but this new formula has upgraded my hydrating regimen to allow me to get that dose of moisture even faster. I use a nickel-sized amount on damp skin before towel drying and I’ve never felt softer—or smelled so delicious. If you're curious about Cyklar, this product is a great introduction to the brand.
There’s nothing sexy about in-grown hairs, but try as I might, I inevitably wind up with one or two every few weeks. Well, at least until I started incorporating this gentle formula into my post-shower lineup. It utilizes buzzy hypochlorous acid to soothe and prevent new bumps from forming. My bikini line has never looked smoother.
My Favorite Makeup Products
I adore the look of a cream blush but it doesn’t always last. This watery blush tint gives me that second-skin look but remains locked in place until I wash my face at night. I use the smallest drop on each cheek and over the bridge of my nose to add warmth and brightness to my face, and it’s safe to say, I’m obsessed.
Sometimes you just need a hint of concealer at the corners of your nose or under your eyes, and that’s exactly what this super precise pencil formula delivers. It’s creamy, blendable, with surprising coverage for such a small format. I’ve loved playing around with all the different ways to incorporate it into my complexion makeup.
My Favorite Fragrances
Clearly, I am the milk fragrance trend’s target demographic because I also fell in love with this laconic scent. It’s become my ideal layering spritz for all my winter perfumes, and it adds the perfect warm and cozy, yet bright, note to my daily fragrance concoction.

Danucera is easily one of my favorite skincare brands of all time, which is frankly saying a lot. The founder, Danuta Meiloch, shares my very sensitive skin, so she formulated every product in her line to be redness-reducing and calming, while still having incredible actives and benefits. This serum is the latest addition to her line, and now that I’ve been using it for a few months, I can confirm it is a glow in a bottle. The formula is hydrating, firming, and soothing—it’s the only serum I use on the regular.
My mom and I are both obsessed with this–it’s like a time machine in a bottle. I’ve been through three different bottles this year and have noticed that my under-eyes are brighter, have fewer fine lines, and are generally more hydrated. I get super dry around my eyes (especially in the winter) so this exosome-powered hydrating eye cream has been a game-changer.
My Favorite Hair Products
As a dry shampoo connoisseur (that’s what I get for having fine, oily hair), I’ve tested just about every option on the market, and candidly, they all mesh together. It wasn’t until I tested this new innovation that I felt something genuinely new had been brought to the dry shampoo market. It’s a waterless cleanser that functions like a true shampoo, leaving my hair feeling fresh and clean—just like it does after a blowout. I can now get an extra two days out of my hair.
If you’re new around here: I’ve been on a hair growth journey for the better part of the past two years. I’ve come a long way on the length front (in large part due to regular haircuts), but this serum has been my secret weapon for making sure that new length stays strong and healthy enough to keep growing. Bonus: it makes my hair super easy to brush through.
My Favorite Body Care Products
I swear there’s magic in here. Never will I ever wear shorts or a skirt again without slathering this sparkly goodness all over my legs. It smells like a delicious almond perfume (I ditch traditional fragrance when I wear this guy), gives my legs an airbrush filter, and creates a shimmery (but not glittery) sheen that’s a recipe for compliments.
This winter is kicking my skin’s butt. Every inch of my body is screaming and crying for hydration, so I’ve become reliant on this heavy-duty body cream. It’s French (all good things are) and has a dense texture jam-packed with great ingredients: brightening niacinamide, squalane, and ceramides for hydration, and sea kelp for a little firming action.
My Favorite Makeup Products
A few months ago makeup artist Dani Parkes gave me an all-around-the-eye tightline (something I haven’t done since middle school), and I’ve been obsessed with replicating the look ever since. This particular eyeliner, in shade Bronze, is my go-to—it lasts all day, doesn’t flake, and most importantly, doesn’t irritate my very sensitive eyes.
Summer Fridays may have started as a skincare brand, but the recent makeup innovations have me viewing it as a go-to for color cosmetics. This blush in particular is part of my everyday makeup—it blends beautifully with my fingers, lasts all day long, and gives a glow that strikes the perfect level of luminosity.
My Favorite Fragrances
Mark my words: unexpected gourmands are going to be the fragrance profile for 2026, which is exactly why I plan on bringing this eau de parfum into the new year. It’s floral first, with iris taking center stage, but is balanced by orange blossom, jasmine, and a hint of vanilla. Bonus: it’s on the lighter side, but has remarkable staying power.
Aerin’s Amber Musk line is one of my all-time favorites. Amber Musk Santal has been a long-standing go-to perfume, and I didn’t think anything could top it, but as a gourmand girl, this newest drop did just that. It’s a warm, cozy hug without the saccharine edge of traditional vanillas, bottled up.

I don’t play when it comes to my lip balms, and Ole Henricksen’s Lip Peptide line has emerged as a clear favorite for me this year. Glossy, moisturizing, and hygienic, thanks to the squeeze tube applicator, I thought this line truly couldn’t get any better. Then they released the Vanilla Bonbon scent, and I had to take it back. Now this line is complete, and I smell like a snack from head to toe. A 10/10 product if you ask me.
I made a commitment to myself this year that I’d really start listening to my skin and what it needs instead of trying products to try them. That overhaul included starting to use this Breakout Breakup Salicylic Acid Cleanser from Sunday Riley. Within a few weeks, I started noticing that my acneic skin was actually calming down and from there, I built out the rest of my routine. Yes, it’s my job to test new products on the market, but from now on, this is the cleanser that I will always go back to because it truly works and I can’t rave about the results enough.
My Favorite Hair Products
Everything about this spray is incredibly thoughtful, from the targeted nozzle to the fact that this is a no-rinse spray. It’s a must-have for my protective styles, and I will be stocking up so that I never run out.
Fun fact about me: I don’t know how to use a traditional clamp curling iron. What I do know is how to use a straightener to curl my hair, and this one from T3 makes that process so much easier thanks to the curved plates. I’ll be skipping the heat damage and just using what I know from now on, and this straightener is it.
My Favorite Body Care Products
While I’m not typically a fan of gel deodorants, of course it’s Cyklar that changed my mind. Not only does each offering smell incredible, but they don’t feel stick under my arms (the main reason I’ve stayed away from this category in the past). Plus, this formula has one of my favorite ingredients, mandelic acid, to help brighten my underarms over time.
Olibanum is the best scent in Nécessaire’s lineup. So you can imagine my absolute glee when the brand expanded the offerings available in this scent to include a body lotion. Let’s just say that I haven’t stopped using it since adding it to my body care routine, and the perfumes that I’ve added on top have never smelled better.
My Favorite Makeup Products
I have an ongoing love affair with this lip liner, and I have no plans to stop any time soon. The color Brownstone is nothing short of perfect. It’s that shadow-y contour shade that makes my lips look pouty and delicious, and the formula glides onto the lips so smoothly I feel like I could apply it forever. Even better? It’s a twist-up pencil that you won’t have to sharpen.
These Colorfix Stix are one of my favorite launches of the entire year. Not only does each stick come with two formulas of eyeshadow, one glittery and one more metallic, but they’re also magnetized. This means that you can mix and match the sticks to create the perfect on-the-go eyeshadow that you can chuck into your makeup bag without thinking. Ease, convenience, and immaculate color payoff? It’s always going to be a "yes" from me.
My Favorite Fragrances
This is one of the best fragrances that I’ve ever tried from Aesop. Labdanum, vanilla bean, cardamom—these are some of my favorite notes of all time. The resulting combination is sweet but not cloying; it almost leans on the more citrus side of the fragrance wheel. It’s an unexpected scent, so I highly recommend smelling it in person if you can. Prepare to want to buy the full bottle on the spot, though. It’s that good.
The only way that I can describe this perfume is fairy dust. My nose picks up on the musk note the most, but it also has pink pepper and vetiver. The combination is what I imagine something cute but ethereal would smell like. Sweet, but hard to pin down. Familiar and intimate, but slightly otherworldly. If you want to smell coy and a little flirty, this should be your new signature scent.

I deal with persistent redness, either from hormonal breakouts or my skin's reactive personality. I, like most of the world, am already a huge fan of the EltaMD sunscreen line, so when the brand dropped a green-tinted color corrector that soothed all my redness and offered broad-spectrum SPF protection, I was hooked.
As someone whose skin has become more sensitive as I’ve gotten older, I’ve become very intentional about my skincare products. The original Lait-Crème is a mainstay in my routine, but because I can use my tretinoin only a few days a week without retinol-induced irritation, I use this on the other nights to mitigate any reactions and still get those collagen-stimulating benefits.
My Favorite Hair Products
I’m a sucker for a stunning hairbrush, and my collection grew once more this year with the launch of Tek Tek’s made-in-Italy marble collection. I personally love the Half-Round Brush for its unique shape, which helps me style my hair and add extra volume at the roots. Plus, the marbled design doesn’t hurt, either.
I’m extremely particular about dry shampoos. With fine-but-dense hair, formulas can weigh my roots down fast—or worse, leave that telltale gritty, dirty feeling. So when Briogeo added this Dry Shampoo Puff—tinted brown, travel-friendly, and designed for precise, targeted application with zero residue—safe to say I was thrilled.
My Favorite Body Care Products
This year, my hormones took a hit, and I have been dealing with body breakouts. Naturium’s Sulf Body Wash became my tried-and-true cleanser for my chest and back to help deal with lingering redness and acne. Colloidal sulfur helps tackle breakouts while soothing inflammation and redness. I’ve seen such a difference in my skin with this gentle addition to my routine.
Everything that Flamingo Estate makes is such a treat, so when the brand drops a new product, I sit idly by my computer ready to press add-to-cart. This soap bar smells of mint and rosemary, infused with hints of ginger, and adds such a luxurious sensory experience to my shower routine.
My Favorite Makeup Products
I don’t take luxury beauty recommendations lightly; if I’m going to suggest the splurge, the formulation has to back it up. This one does. Nude 1 is my go-to everyday lip, and the two-in-one formula is as thoughtful as the shade itself. The balm preps and smooths, the lipstick delivers a rich, creamy payoff—and the refill costs half as much as the original compact, which only sweetens the deal.
For an instant blurring effect, I reach for the Dior Forever Foundation Stick. The formulation glides like butter when applied to the skin, and when blended in with a dense foundation brush, every imperfection and trickle of redness disappears immediately, leaving me with a soft, airbrushed-looking complexion.
My Favorite Fragrances
Liberty perfumes have become somewhat of an obsession of mine this year. When I spray Tana Meadow, I immediately feel a sense of freshness and brightness before I’m hit with a whiff of praline, vanilla, and musk. It’s a gorgeous scent that I get compliments on every time I wear it.
This gourmand mist—that never leans too sugary—performs like a luxury perfume, but contains hair-safe ingredients so it won’t dry out your strands. Every morning, night, and whenever I remember, I spritz a bit into my hair and am left with a delicious scent that lingers throughout the day.

My Favorite Skincare Products
Formulated in Korea, Summer Fridays’s exfoliating pads are soaked in a cocktail of glycolic, lactic, and mandelic acids, as well as gluconolactone, to gently slough away all the dirt and oil that causes bumpiness and rough texture. I’m a sucker for any skincare product that’s sold in the form of a single-use pad, but especially one that has a textured surface (like this one) that adds a little more power and brawn to the process.
I’ve complained to anyone who’ll listen (read: all of my coworkers) about how uncharacteristically dry my usually-oily skin has been lately, but this peptide-heavy cream is one of a handful of products that have been saving me from harsh winter dryness. Hydrating ingredients like hyaluronic acid and polyglutamic acid come together to deliver intense moisture to the skin while growth factors and collagen give the skin its bounce and help to prevent signs of aging.
My Favorite Hair Products
Post-protective style knots and tangles are inevitable—especially if said protective style has been installed for six weeks or more—which is why I’d highly recommend grabbing a bottle of this light spritz. It gently breaks up dirt and gel buildup and takes all the fuss out of detangling.
During a recent hair appointment, this hydrating mask managed to completely transform the dry, frizzy ends of my hair and leave me with a much-smoother, frizz-free surface. Moisture has been top of mind for me ever since I lightened my hair a few shades over a year ago, and this metal-blocking mask does that well while also allowing me to maintain the vibrancy of my copper-cinnamon color.
My Favorite Body Care Products
Pattern Beauty’s expansion into the body category this year felt long overdue, and of all of the products featured in its lineup of new goodies—a body wash, a body butter, a lotion, et cetera—it’s this one that wound up in my daily product rotation. The formula itself is a lot thinner and drippier than other heavy body oils, and it absorbs into the skin pretty quickly without transferring onto other surfaces or making you feel like you're covered in oil.
“Oil” being in the name of an in-shower product sounds a bit more off-putting or confusing than it actually is. Sol de Janeiro’s Delicia Drench formula starts off as a thick oil-jelly hybrid that quickly transforms into a rich foam once you start to lather. It feels like a trip to the spa in a bottle.
My Favorite Makeup Products
After pioneering the cream blush movement, Glossier introduced an all-new powder blush to an already-divisive category. The Cloud Paint Plush Blush, while powdery, has a soft, clay-like texture that’s very pigmented and practically melts into the skin. I’ve been a big fan of the deep burgundy shade for giving my cheeks a light flush of color.
I hadn’t given much thought to underpainting prior to trying this palette, but I’ve been using it almost daily since initially testing it. It’s easy to use and streamlines the facial sculpting process, not to mention the colors blend so easily without feeling greasy or waxy.
My Favorite Fragrances
Alto Astral is a unisex fragrance that blends coconut water with jasmine, sandalwood, cashmere, and salted amber. It’s a gourmand scent that swiftly changed my mind about the fragrance family—the coconut scent is pretty powerful, yet it doesn’t smell nauseatingly sweet.
This isn’t your typical vanilla fragrance, and that’s what I love most about it. It has the sweet, delicious scent that you would expect from vanilla, but it’s balanced out perfectly by the inclusion of sea salt that gives it a fresh, beachy vibe.

I know “exosome” is a buzzword in the beauty space right now, but I didn’t think the trending ingredient could do much for my 20-something-year-old skin—boy, was I wrong. I used this serum to the very last drop, and my skin was the bounciest and firmest I had ever seen it. Now, I consider this serum a must-have in my daily routine.
As much as I would love to see my esthetician every month for a Hydrafacial, my budget isn’t up to it. Shark’s FacialPro Glow is the next best thing, though. Every Sunday, I set aside 15 minutes to use this device and my skin is all the better for it—my pores look smaller and clearer, and the immediate glow is incredible.
My Favorite Hair Products
Glosses and hair masks tend to weigh my thin, flat hair down, but that’s not the case with this hybrid mask. It only needs a minute in the shower to work its magic. Since using it weekly, my cherry cola hair is noticeably more vibrant, shiny, and smooth.
My flat hair needs all the help it can get, so this volume spray has been a godsend for adding some extra oomph. No matter how much I spray in (I apply it generously from my roots to ends on damp hair), I’m never left with any stickiness or crunchiness—just soft, touchable hair with big, bouncy volume. I love that it works as a heat protectant, too.
My Favorite Body Care Products
We love Patrick Ta products at Marie Claire, and I’m especially a fan of the brand’s body care. When I don’t feel like exfoliating and moisturizing, the Major Glow Balm is my lazy-girl hack for glowy skin. Its non-sticky formula is easy to apply with a brush, and it leaves the prettiest glossy (not sparkly) sheen.
I can’t get enough of Sol de Janeiro’s Bum Bum Cream, but this new launch might’ve just dethroned it as my favorite body butter. This cream has a bouncier, lighter feel that spreads easily and absorbs quickly. What’s more, it adds a subtle luminosity to the skin and a light rose scent that is delectable.
My Favorite Makeup Products
Most blushes on my skin never live up to their “long-wearing” claims, but this one actually does. I sweep it along my cheeks in the morning, and it looks just as bright when I go to wash it off. It’s especially buildable and has a blurring effect, so sometimes I will apply it on its own or on top of cream blush for a wow-worthy effect.
As a foundation hater, I’m so glad the market has come a long way with other options. This tinted sunscreen, for instance, is my go-to in my everyday makeup routine. It’s not too heavy or full coverage, instead providing a lightweight feel and with just enough coverage for my skin to still look like skin, but better.
My Favorite Fragrances
I don’t have a signature scent, but if I did, it would be Impadia. This creamy, sweet rose scent completely changed what I thought I knew about floral fragrances. It’s somehow fresh, fruity, and a gourmand all wrapped into one delectable scent. The compliments roll in every single time I wear it.
If you could bottle up the feeling of being wrapped in a massive, plush blanket, it would be Celestial Object. It blends together almond and rice paper to create the coziest scent in my collection. I reach for it before I go to bed, on cold days, when I’m feeling down, or anytime I need a dose of comfort—it works like a charm at uplifting my spirits.
